Originally and with roots from the State of Chihuahua, Durango, San Luis Potosí, and Colima In 2017, commanded by its founder Juan Carlos Gomez Jr. (Juanito) a new musical concept with a unique modern touch and a very distinct sound was born by the name of Estrategia Norteña.

On May 25, 2019 Estrategia Norteña makes their first debut with their EP Una Probadita. Containing 3 different songs; their sound is established.

On March 26, 2021 Estrategia Norteña comes out with a newly innovated sound with their EP 

F5. On March 18, 2023 Estrategia Norteña releases their first full album titled Eros. Reaching more than 250,000 streams in less than 24 hours. 

Estrategia Norteña signs their first record deal to Azteca Records in 2023. While it was very short lived they released 3 songs under the label. Due to the creative differences between the label and the band they parted ways in June 2024.

Estrategia Norteña then signs with Elegante Records in 2024. They release their first single with the label telepatía. This single positions them in a high rank in the label. Reaching more than 64 million views on TikTok! From here they release golden hour, also reaching over 16 million TikTok views! The band continues to release under Elegante Records with their latest release, ASTROS. 

Composed by Juan Carlos Gomez Jr.'s saxophone, Ozzy Méndez’s voice, Johnny Magaña’s acordeon, Jaasai Magaña’s bajo quinto, Oscar Gonzalez’s drums, Angel Maldonado’s Bass, and Ariel Gomez’s Percussions.
